Tech stuff i make for fun
Videogames on vr
In my personal experience, videogames are the most fun way to implement your creativity in any direction, from visual, to sound to even coding. I made many virtual reality experience with Unreal Engine 4. I know that virtual reality videogames and art gallery are both a niche, yet I believe that the exhibition industry is missing out not taking advantage of such an incredible media.
Exhibition, beyond physical
Back in 2019 in St. Louis, me and my team made a virtual replica of the IndustryLift booth for the NASCC 2019. The physical space was limited by the fact that our booth was not meat to show power tools or CNC machinery. It had the mission to promote the skill trade industry and showcase the many opportunity that the steel industry has to offer. The trick was to expand the experience with a virtual world.
STCX, Atlanta 2020
After the big success of the NASCC 2019 we got called again to make an even bigger project, that included most of the the skill trade jobs, not only the one related to the steel industry. Sadly the project was cancelled during the production because of a little global pandemy.
SFX, VR, Social, marketing and space
For the release of the Navigator album made by the finnish music producer Turbo Knight I got to be involved with the promotional material. I was responsable for every video editing, creation of visual effect with the adobe suite, I also made some VR experience to promote the music. This is probably the best project that I had the luck to be part of. Imagine to work side by side with one of your bigges inspiration as equal.
Our game on national tv
In the summer of 2024 I joined the Radical Game indie dev group as a complete random to partecipate in the LudoTicino summer jam event as a programmer and 3d modeler. Our project was so well received that we got showcased on national television. Having my work exposed to the mass was such an experience. The game is free to play and download on LudoTicino's page. Get a friend, two controller and get rolling!
Today i'm studying as computer operator
At the moment and I’m developing my own data center at home by my self, and it is harder than it sound. For real finding the right documentation for something that do not exist is not an easy task.
Also I keep training my self fixing any pc in my city for free, as a way to pay back for my community. This way I both learned a lot and helped many folks with IT problems.
Most people will not fix their laptop or desktop pc because buying a new one is cheaper most of the time. Yet files, old photos and videos that are stored are priceless.
Everytime I tell people that i do not charge for the service they look like they got strike by a lightning. Yet if I asked for a price I would not had this many opportunity to improve and share my knowledge,
